Platelet Rich Plasma

RP (platelet rich plasma) therapy can produce a dramatic improvement in skin quality, firmness, and glow. PRP has long been used in the medical field for wound healing, repairing tissue damage and is known to be an effective regenerative treatment for arthritis, tendonitis, and strains. When injected into the facial skin, PRP triggers the natural regenerative processes to restore skin quality.

WHAT ARE PRP INJECTIONS?
A PRP injection treatment is a simple three-step process of drawing blood from the patient, processing the blood to separate the platelets, and then injecting the platelet rich plasma into the area needing regeneration and rejuvenation. PRP can produce a dramatic improvement in hair growth when injected into the scalp to trigger hair growth. When injected into the facial skin, PRP stimulates natural skin regeneration for a beautiful, natural rejuvenation becoming visible over the weeks and months ahead.

Benefits of Facial PRP Injections:

SMOOTHS FINE LINES, WRINKLES, AND FOLDS
REGENERATES SKIN FROM WITHIN
REDUCES REDNESS AND ACNE SCARS
ENHANCED, MORE EVEN SKIN TONE
INCREASED HYDRATION
INCREASED COLLAGEN PRODUCTION

HOW DO PRP INJECTIONS WORK?
Platelets are the part of the blood associated with healing of wounds and repairing of damaged cells and tissue. Platelet rich plasma (PRP) separates these cells from the rest of the blood for a concentrated formula of platelets to trigger the regeneration of skin cells. As tissue is more rapidly restored, it also aids in producing more collagen for younger, firmer, more supple facial skin.

PRP FACIAL REJUVENATION:
RESTORE THE GLOW FROM WITHIN
Young people have noticeably firm, supple skin that appears fresh and glowing – the result of the high quantities of collagen and elastin in youthful skin. To trigger your skin to once again produce higher volumes of firming collagen, PRP facial rejuvenation treatments can produce a remarkable improvement.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT
After the blood is drawn and processed to separate the platelet rich plasma, the PRP is then injected back into the targeted areas using a small needle, similar those used to inject dermal fillers. The process takes less than an hour and involves very little discomfort.

Recovery from PRP injections is immediate and most patients continue on with their day after the treatment. Patients may experience redness or pinprick bleeding at the injection site.

Results from our PRP injection treatment such as increased hydration and more even skin tone will begin to appear at about three to four weeks. Improvements in volume will become more noticeable around four to six weeks and continue for several months as natural collagen regenerates. To achieve optimal results in skin regeneration, two more treatments spaced four to eight weeks apart may be advised.
